I have read all of Grisham. Several times I have said 'If the next one doesn't get better, I am done.' then the next one gets better. I like his writing style and his characters. My favorites: A Time to Kill, The Chamber, Playing For Pizza, The Painted House.
Well, I am back in that space again. The beginning of this book was pure Grisham--engaging, characters that are real and fast paced. That is why I am giving the book two stars and I kept wondering how he as going to bring it to closure. It sucked.
The ending was lame and irritating. A HUGE disappointment. Stupid, even. Can you tell I am ticked I spent the time reading the book only to get to the last few pages? Lazy is what it seemed.
