On My Way Home

This was my 13th trip to India. Every time I leave now I think it is my last trip. And it could be, depending on the business.

I made Executive Platinum in December (this means my life is spent on an American Airline flight) which has some nice perks--including eight system wide upgrades. The perk is nice when there is a seat in business available but this was the first trip I was able to use it--both ways. It make a huge difference to be able to fly business instead of coach. Huge.

Due to a very large family flying in business, all with separate seats and a very loud father giving American a ration of his pissed off Indian mind, I was upgraded to First Class by the purser. Love me that purser. There were only about eight people in First so it was a quiet and well served ride home.

Greenland was beautiful--it always is but I am not always awake to see it. This trip I wanted to look at Iceland (no visibility) and hung out to see Greenland. Beautiful. Iceland is on the bucket list, and I think Greenland might be a destination as well. It looks so desolate and undiscovered. What is down there in all that snow?
