4th of July

I like the 4th. It is a good holiday and I like parties so, having 14 people over for a BBQ seemed like a good thing.



My silly attempt at a theme cake--it tasted really good even if it didn't look so Martha Stewart. I have had the platter it is on since I was 19. Pretty, huh? It is one of the things I treasure.



It is also my friend, Suze's birthday so I knit her two dishcloths--she was gifted with something non-hokey homemade too!
