Saving Second Base

Karen and me on Sunday

After months of planning--fundraising and training, the walk is over. It is hard to believe it is done.  I met my goal of walking 26.5 miles on day one and 13.5 on day two.  Karen met her goal of walking 13 miles Saturday and Sunday.  She was awesome

I met a knitter!  Alex got me through the last 6 miles on Saturday

2800 awesome people got out there and walked. 6.4 MILLION dollars were raised for the Southern California community.

The start at o'dark thirty.  One of the speakers had had a mastectomy two weeks before and walk the whole walk.

People walked, limped, smiled, cried, celebrated, mourned and kept moving forward.

Walking Wounded--this became technicolor

1.5 million were diagnosed with breast cancer last year.

We need to keep walking.
