The Avon Walk of 40 miles is done for the third time. I am sore today--just my calves but wearing high heels to dinner last night may have something to do with it. This year I had my friend Kathleen (on left) and her friend Toni (middle) joined in to walk. We all did great.
Again, another amazing event. The people, the stories, the effort. Stunning.
I raised $4107.60 to add to the 4.7 million raised in Santa Barbara. My highest total and I thank all my friends who helped.
There is a cure coming. I have to believe that with all my being.
Now, off to the National Parks in lower Utah and the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Life is good.
