Thank you for all your comments and questions about the Haiku post. I have really enjoyed writing haikus and to have interest plus compliments really makes me happy.
So, where is the photo from? It was taken at the Hoover Dam in March of this year. My husband and I were visiting family and drove up to the dam.
The escalator is narrow and steep. The reflection in the morning light just begged for a photo so I obliged. The air was still fresh and crisp before the mid-day heat and I had just left my husband to do the tour of the bowels of the dam while I took time to absorb the day and journal. I sat outside, with an umbrella for shade and enjoyed the day. It is a good memory.
