The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest (Millennium, #3)The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest by Stieg Larsson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am going to miss Lizbeth Salander now that I have finished the last book in the trilogy. I can only hope that the rumors of a fourth book are correct.

This book dragged a bit for me--I wanted to know about the characters more than how the government deviated from the truth. The story did move fast enough, and with enough twists to have me gasp out loud at one point. All in the best of story telling.

SPOILER:

I liked that Lizabeth never got warm and fuzzy--the author let her ride out her truth and it made it real. While I think she began to see that friendship could be part of her life, she didn't embrace it. I also thought there was going to be a plot line with her twin sister. Maybe that was going to be in a future book. Darn.

Recommended--but I do recommend reading the first two prior to diving into this one.
