Five Postcards

I sent five postcards after really putting thought into who I wanted to hear from...there were several I eliminated as 'no go' because, ya know what, it is good not to hear from some people.

I included my contact info, and today I received an email from an old friend. A friend I love dearly. And there, in the first words of his greeting was the payoff for the first six weeks of The Artist's Way: My nickname that only he uses, and I had forgotten about because I have gotten so far away from that point. Funny how it takes only one word to remind me who I was and question who I am.
