DH and I are in Spain. I had one day of business here and we decided to make it a vacation. We spent four days in Barcelona and are now in Sitges, 30 minutes south of Barcelona where my client is conducting their meetings.
Today is our 21st anniversary. How the hell did THAT happen. It went fast, which I guess is a good sign. We still like each other and are having a good time.
I will post more later (can someone tell me how I get off of the Spanish google? It is the default and I can't figure it out!) , but for the fiber enhanced of you who are interested, here is my newest stash enhancement. the richness of these colors are yummy--I think I will be making a hat. Buying yarn in here was different--it was sold by the kilogram, all weighed and priced accordingly. I didn't realize that until I had made a limited decision because of price. My lack of understanding probably saved me big Euros. The whole shopping experience was cool--the shop owner spoke no English, only Catalan, I speak medium Spanish. But there is a whole other language of knitting and we did just fine there.
And, yes, that is the Mediterranian Sea in the background.
Life is good.
