My mom would be 91 today. A beautiful, complicated, irritating, intelligent, fun woman. She was married five times because no one knew how to handle her and she was born in the wrong decade. She taught me to read by the time I was four, and taught me alcohol was a lousy way to ease the pain of raising three kids.
I still miss her.
