Sundance

Yesterday I had lunch at Sundance...no skiing because the cold I have had for ten days is deepening in to laryngitis. It was also low visibility and snowing, which are not my ideal conditions for skiing. Totally ticked me off not to ski, though.

Lunch in the Foundry Grill helped--it was just right. My friend is here, so we shopped and enjoyed ourselves. Almost as good as skiing. The Sundance Film Festival is going on in Park City and it always makes Sundance interesting. The first year I was in Utah on business I was surprised to find out the film festival isn't actually held at Sundance but miles away in Park City. Still, the spill over of the PIB's (people in black) happens here so it was great people watching.

Last night I read Week Three in The Artist's Way. All good stuff until I got to the part about no reading for a week. For me, one of the things that means is I will miss keeping up on the AW blogs. I will do this and not read magazines, books, etc and no TV, with the exception of a work proposal I must read for a presentation on Tuesday. There is not a good way around that one. ARGHHH, this makes me tense just thing about it.

This will be interesting, as reading is one of my loves in life.

Catch up with y'all next Saturday. Already I know I am going to miss you!
