I don't remember where I picked this book up--in India or in the US. I think maybe at the airport on the way home . This is one of the novels, that has sat on my reading pile for too long, its story inside, waiting to be immersed in for the richness of the words.
This story weaves between two worlds, twisting together and unraveling each other. It takes place in the tidal waters of Bangal and is fascinating for the landscape, India and the characters
Recommended highly.
